Night Shift

During a study trip to Paris, we were assigned to create a “souvenir package” based on a graphic design studio that we found inspiring and that was also located in Paris. My choice quickly fell on Diplomatie Studio, a studio I had already been following and admiring for quite some time. Led by Léo Marsal and Ferdinand Prat, the studio is known for its bold visual language, often characterized by vibrant colors and references to nightlife and party culture. For my project, I designed a flag featuring the studio’s name in large, prominent lettering. The imagery draws from party scenes, reflecting the energetic atmosphere that Diplomatie frequently incorporates into its branding. The bright colors further emphasize this connection and align with the studio’s distinctive aesthetic. In addition to the flag, I also created a series of fitting gadgets that complemented the concept. I titled the project "Night Shift", both as a reference to an interview in which the founders mentioned often working late-night shifts, and as a nod to the vibrant nightlife of Paris that resonates throughout their work.
